Passing Through pieces together brief video clips from many different journeys, contributed by people from all over the world, into a single shared voyage back and forth across the globe. Whether you're travelling by plane, train, car, bicycle or even on foot, shoot some video footage looking in the direction you're going and add it to the Passing Through film sequence.

Simply by uploading your video clips to YouTube and tagging them with the passingthrough-tv tag, your clips will automatically then be included in the Passing Through film.

Before uploading a clip please read the guidelines below.

1. Please only use the passingthrough-tv tag for clips that are taken while moving forward and looking forward for the entire length of the clip.
2. Please title your clips starting with the country or state/province in which it was taken followed by a few words describing it. For example: "Chicago, On the Freeway" or "England, Dorset, Rolling Hills".
3. Only clips that are at least 7 seconds long and no longer than 60 seconds will be included.
4. Please only contribute clips that fill the normal YouTube aspect ratio of 4:3.

* If you have some clips that are shot looking left or right rather than forward please contribute them to the film Passing By instead.

• If you are uploading several clips that are all part of a single journey and you want these to appear in the correct sequence you will need to upload the clips in reverse order as clips are shown in reverse order of date and time uploaded.
• Any typos in your clip tag will prevent it from being included in the Passing Through film. To make sure there's no mistake you can copy and paste the tag from here: passingthrough-tv.
• Please note, once your clips are live on YouTube, or once you add a Passing Through tag to existing clips, it can take approximately a further 24hrs for the clips to enter the YouTube database at which time they will automatically become part of the Passing Through film.

Simply by copy-and-pasting the code below into the html of your site your visitors will be able to watch the Passing Through film right there in your page!
